Bled cream cake is a weekend or holiday dish from our “Slovenian classics” collection. It takes about 2 h 30 min, the difficulty is challenging and you need 7 ingredients.

Ingredients for 4 people

• Puff pastry500 g
• Milk1 l
• Eggs6
• Sugar200 g
• Pudding powder2 bags
• Cream500 ml
• Icing sugarto taste

Method in 5 steps

1. Bake the pastry as on the packet (two sheets).
2. Cook the custard powder in the milk with sugar and eggs until thick.
3. Pour the custard onto one sheet and let it cool.
4. Whip the cream, spread it on the custard and cover with the second sheet.
5. Chill for at least 3 hours, dust with icing sugar and cut.
